Who can point me in the right direction for land values in rural OK? I have a 5 acre plot with a 1955 SFR on it near Stigler.

May be interested. Although I am posting 2 months after the original post. I grew up in Henryetta and my brother is still there. I'm finding deals. He's my "boots-on-the-ground". Keep us in mind on your next deal.

Post: Tracking down a foreclosure and making an offer

Okay, here's the scenario. There is an abandoned house in my neighborhood. There are stickers posted on the windows stating that the house is abandoned. These stickers were left by a security company. In doing some research, we found that the original mortgage was with bank A. Bank A was subsequently bought by Bank B, which was later bought by Citibank. We have an address for the Citibank REO department, but no other contact info. The house has been abandoned for several years. Possibly as many as five. The balance on the loan when it went into foreclosure appears to be $175k. How would I go about contacting Citibank to make an offer before this house goes to auction? What would a reasonable offer amount be? What are some other questions I should be asking?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Does anyone have experience with Section 23 housing? My understanding is that it is low-income housing, but the income limits are not as low as Section 8.

Josiah,

Welcome to BP. I actually live in Orange County, CA, but I grew up in Henryetta, OK. I'm currently looking to invest in the greater Tulsa area. We can see if there is opportunity for us to work together. I'll PM you.

I'm curious how long it takes most of you to get a rehab estimate from a GC? Is this something I should expect on the sport? In 1-2 days? In a week or more?

I've read a few forum threads about finding absentee owner names and addresses, but I want to get a little more specific.

I found a house I want to market for here in Orange County, CA. I went to the OC Tax Assessor's website and found the talk bill. On it it states that "Assessee name and address are not available online per CA gov code". What are other free options for finding this information? Will title companies provide it for free?
