Hello,

I am 23 going on 24. I mention my age because I do feel that when discussing a Roth the earliest of your contributions are the most important. My question for you all is if I should continue maxing out my Roth or have that money in a more accessible savings act to use for fueling my real estate investing. I appreciate you guys, thank you!!

@Anastasiya Zarko

Get with a good agent! The RGV is a great bang for your buck. Growing very fast too. Talk with different property management companies as well. They will provide a lot of insight as they are hoping to achieve your business. There is lots of new development & plenty of re-sale where you can add value.

I think small homes are an excellent way to start! Looking around St. Mary’s University could be good for you. Small homes are attractive to a large % of ppl. I do not see a downside to small homes. Personally, 1bath makes me feel a little un-comfortable but that would be the only “con”. But hey if the rent comps make sense, days on market is relatively low for the area, and you get a fair deal, that’s what it’s about! Numbers numbers and numbers :D
