@Chris Mury Hi Chris, actually we are looking for regular rental properties, not Air BNB or VRBO. SFH preferably. I am not sure how to PM you. Sorry, sort of new to BP!

@James York We don’t accept because we know others that have and they say the house usually gets beat up pretty badly and neighbors complain about the tenants being loud, having too many guests over, etc. Not worth it.

We have considered buying investment home in St Augustine as a rental property. We live out of state. When I search for available rentals, it seems like the area is flooded with them. Especially in comparison to the size of town that it is. Does anyone have any comments or personal knowledge about this area? I know bones are being built like crazy.

Thank you

Does anyone have rental property (single family homes) in San Antonio? I’m wondering if it would be a good place to have a rental property.

@Andrew Carlson

Are you sure the governor banned evictions for any reason? It might just be for non-payment due to reduced hours or job loss. I would look into that.

@Ryan Cleary

Hi, I’m just curious about your insurance rate in Florida and with no flood insurance. That sounds very high? I’m asking because my husband and I are considering moving to Florida and I want to have a good idea of what to expect for property tax and home insurance.

Thank you

@William Brundidge

Hi, I’m wondering if you went ahead and purchased this 5 bedroom home. My husband and I own and live in a 5 bedroom home and are considering making it a rental. I kind of have the same question you were having. Thank you

We are considering making our 5 bd, 2.5 bath primary residence a rental property. The house is 2150 sq ft. I’m wondering if this large of a home will be difficult to rent because it will be in a higher price zone than a typical 3/2. And there will obviously be a smaller group of people wanting a 5 bedroom house. If anyone has experience with this and would like to share, I would appreciate it!!

Thank you
