Hello BP Community!

For the past few months we have been hosting a meetup of Real Estate agents who are active investors.  The format is pretty simple...

1) Round table introductions - talk about where you are from, your specific Real Estate goals, etc...

2) Hot seat:  An investor volunteers to talk about their investing ups and downs.  For example, best deal they did..worst deal they did.   Whats their niche, etc..

3) Q&A with hot seat volunteer

4) Networking

So far the sessions have been really great and very information/motivational.

I am throwing this "proposal" out there to see if anyone in Bigger pockets is

1) Interested in attending our afternoon sessions
2) Thoughts on offering an evening session?
3) Interested at all in creating a meetup in Lincoln Park.

If interested drop me a line and let me know what you think!

Full Disclosure: I own a Real Estate brokerage called Kale Realty, there will be no pitching of Real Estate services at any event.  (No Realtor in their right mind wants to work with an investor client) Location is at at my Real Estate company because its a big open space and I own it, so its easy!

Hi Ron

Welcome to the page!

My best advice is to pick an area and place lots of offers that will make you money.

What Village are you dealing with here?

Typically it's all about "who you know" so there is a buyer out there that can move the process along.

Odds are they will not give you what you want but you will be rid of it.

Hi

Personally, I dont know anybody who has made any money wholesaling.
Anybody here agree or disagree?

Better to invest your time in going all in and doing your own flips and or buy and hold.

better to keep it all separate.  that way if something goes wrong you only loss a "finger" and not your "hand"

Cross Collateralizing is typically the first world you hear when failed investors start telling you their story.

I am very familiar with that area.  it can be pretty wacky at times.

Everyone has a different threshold for safety.  Best advise is to spend lots of time on the weekend walking up and down Evergreen, Hudson, Cleveland.

Talk to the neighbors learn their experiences - on a nice day there will be hundreds of people outside.
