If you're looking to do more property management vs retail real estate, I would recommend a smaller brokerage who won't take a ton of fees on the leasing. My license is hung under KW but we run our management company under another brokerage. Hope this helps!

@Joshua Joseph the interest rate seems pretty high for 30 year. Can you get a hard money loan at a higher interest and refi in 6-12 months?

I would try shopping some other lenders!

@Taylor Bailey sounds like you would make a great transaction coordinator!

@Rhonda Mashaw I work for a property management company in Houston and we highly recommend managing your first 3-4 houses on your own until you can gain some knowledge in the field. Too many PMs take advantage of owners or don’t necessarily do the best job. Unfortunately, nobody cares about your money more than you do.

There’s a ton of great softwares out there for you to manage your first few yourself! Let me know if you would be interested in that and I’m happy to send them to you :)

@Roman Santos it’s case by case really. Depends on the price of the home you want to live in.

I’m 2017 about 60% of housing was owner occupied in Houston
