Ned - good to hear from you! I wasn't expecting to hear from you here!

I beg to differ. She was not a listing agent representing the bank. The article says she was a "listing agent for the property". This was not an REO. There were still 2 mortgages in place.

The big question I think is - did the bank ask her if there was a higher offer, and did she lie about it?

Otherwise, I don't know if I see much of a difference in what she did and what everyone else does.

Just playing devil's advocate....

Sounds like an A-B-C transaction to me - which happens all the time. Maybe she didn't have her full disclosures to the bank in her original offer?
