I need to open a bank account for my newly formed LLC. I would prefer to find a bank that is a portfolio lender here in CFL. Please share some input on the banks you use and if they are portfolio lenders. Thanks!

Hey Nick, if you are still needing help in the Orlando market I am happy to assist.

Speaking as someone in this position, you could also look for a realtor who is interested in investing/working with investors but still getting started on that side. If someone approached me, I would be happy to set up an auto search for them. That being said, you aren't going to get owners info from this, at least not with our MLS in Central FL. You could, however, pull it from tax records once you have the address. Actually, I am remembering now that I have a tool to look up expired but not relisted properties through tax records so that could be helpful too.

Hi Matt, I'm a new investor as well and located in the Orlando area.  As John mentioned above, many people told me to attend the CFRI meeting. The next one is Wednesday and I will be attending.  You can get a guest pass to it on their website.   Hope to see you there!

Hello everyone,  I am a new BP member in Winter Garden, FL.  Having been interested in real estate investing for a very long time, I recently became an agent with KW.  I have a long term goal of retiring with my own investment portfolio so I am primarily interested in buy and hold or even flip and hold.  I am interested in Single Family as well as Multi Family.

 I have read through some other members introductions and saw others suggested attending the next CFRI meeting so I have gotten myself a guest pass for the March 1st meeting.  I am extremely interested in the downtown Winter Garden area so I watch it very very closely and I am now working with one investor and one family wanting to purchase in the area.

I have been listening to the BP podcast in the car for a few months now (just about all I listen to) so I feel like I have picked up a good bit of knowledge from it but it's nothing compared from the knowledge you gain doing a deal.  If anyone ever wants to talk Winter Garden investments or any other Central Florida strategies I would love to chat.  

Hey Mike, 6 months have passed...how is everything going?  I am a new BP member in Winter Garden. I am an agent, got into the business because I am interested in investing too.  I follow the downtown area very closely so let me know if you're ever looking there.  Would be happy to meet at Axum sometime to talk investments in the WG area.  I've been listening to the podcast for a few months now but still have a ton to learn!
