@Steve Vaughan Albuquerque is totally accurate. Once upon a time it was growing and florishing but it has been on a down hill trend since 07/08 and hasn't had a true uptick yet. Sad really. I agree, Salt Lake City really threw me off too.

So basically when people are talking about exit strategies they don't actually mean exit strategy, they mean just regular ol' these are the different ways we can go with this strategies? Good, I thought I was missing a BIG piece of the puzzle here.

So, everyone talks a lot about having "multiple exit strategies". My problem is I don't understand this concept of multiple exit strategies. What else can you do, aside from selling your property, to exit?

Hi Chimi,

Do you plan on occupying one of the units? If you do that you might be able to get far lower rates. If not, 15% is the best I've heard of, most lenders want 20-25% on something like that around here. I can put you in contact with a lender I've worked with for a while now. He's a great guy, but I don't know if you'll get anything lower that 15%. Always worth a shot though. Also, I am a realtor in Dallas as well if you want to connect.
