Hi , I’m active service over here and yes that’s a bold move to resign from the Navy. I guess the plus side is you will have more time to invest. The market is tough here but I am sure to let people know the US population is set to double in the next 30 years so even at market costs are Good holds over time. Words of wisdom right there I tell ya - That's pretty amazing you have travelled all those places - I have quite a few states to hit yet but I've done almost every country in Europe - Asia is next.

You may be able to find some more creative ways of investing in Brandon’s book - investing with low or no money down- there were a few early podcasts that mentioned some pretty creative Unfortunately I couldn’t find it. Leverage is bad when the market dips or crashes and you feel the ripple in your wallet.

As far as the house goes you should talk to a local expert. There are some old Victorian homes in Colorado Springs near the colleges and universities (downtown and north end).
