Post: Non refundable cashiers check........to look at property

Good afternoon,

I was following up with a lead last night.  Homeowner is telling me about the house etc. He tells me the house needs a new roof and other details about the house. I then asked if we can set up a meeting to look at the house and the gentlemen stated that I would need to give him a $10K non-refundable cashiers check, just to look at the house.

LOL. Am I missing something here?

Great thread. I am also looking into listsource and just found this thread, never heard of property radar but it seems like it another great source. Has anybody had any success using property radar? Definately looking into this, thanks!

Hi good morning,

I'm hoping somebody would be kind enough to assist me with a question that I have, I feel stuck, but how do I obtain a property owners name online?  Is there any specific websites that you can recommend?  I have been searching the county of orange website but have had no luck.

I am currently sending direct mail but I am having trouble locating the names of the property owners.  I'm hoping I can access this information.  In the meantime, I will continue to send out the letters addressed "Homeowner".

Please PM or send me an email.

Thank you all in advance!  Back to hand writing these yellow letters!
