Hi Sabrina,

Why not use your VA benefit now and potentially have a lower mortgage payment then Rents in Orlando? You can have seller pay for closing cost and have a house of your own.

Hi Jenny, I just closed an FHA loan with a 3.375% but we initially looked into a 203k loan and we could have locked the rate for 45 days at 3.875%. Might be different in Jersey but two give you an example.

@Jared Maltbie we used conventional lending. Yes the property was originally bank owned.

Yes, they are in a reserve account. We didn't hire a PM just to gain the experience as a landlord, funny enough the tenant who we selected is a property manager (really great tenant so far). We did some repairs ourselves but most of the kitchen and bathroom was done by a contractor. @Ian McKeown
