Hey everyone,

I am about to purchase my first investment property, maybe, and I am trying to find out the best way to go about it. I have an MLS report and I'm trying to figure out the ARV but have not studied too many reports this far, can you get arv from an mls report? A little back log on this home is, it is a single-famiy home with a wall framed in, making it a multi family home, at least it will be after I'm done with it. There is only one kitchen on one side so I would have to plumb in the other side, put in new countertops, cabinets, cook top, fridge and do minimal repairs. It is a 1/1 on the vacant side and the other side is occupied (also a 1/1) it's going for 65k, any info is appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Post: tax sales in North Carolina?

Hey everyone,

I have a friend who was telling me about tax sales in NC. He was telling me that after auction you could have the deed within 30 days. From what little bit of research I did there was some validity to what he was saying. My issue at hand is I live in GA and the tax sale laws out here, from what I understand, is the "redemption period" is a full year and it was not worth my time or money to tie up for that long. This could obviously be a game changer if what he is saying is true. Does anyone have any wisdom or experience on this topic? Testimonies?

Thanks in advance!

I have a friend who lives in North Carolina and I live in Georgia, he mentioned that he was looking to get into tax sales out there. He told me that you could get the deed within 30 days after auction, I believe it takes about a year in GA. Does anyone have any experience in tax sales in NC? Is what he is saying true? Anyone have testimonies?

Does anyone have any information on how to navigate through open records in your county? Places to get more information? Books to read or resources? Any testimonies?

I just checked the tax assessor website in my county and I was overwhelmed with information and not sure where to start with something like this, thanks in advance!
