I have a big house and office in Boulder in case anyone wants to have meetups in Boulder - I have plenty of space to host.

Investing in Colorado makes sense if you live here or if you plan on living here.  For those that live here - LOVE it.  For instance, before I lived in Colorado, I traveled around the world and always felt the need to see a new city abroad.  Several passports filled up and I had to get more papers in them, and still, I would return home and itch to leave.

Living in Boulder, Colorado, I never feel the need to travel.  Occasionally I wonder, but the itch is not there anymore.  Colorado is a state of extremes - you either love it or hate it!

No place is perfect, but it's my corner of heaven.

(that's my take)

You're welcome to give me a call, I'm a realtor in Colorado.  Which city is this in?

Joni

My business partner and I have used two lawyers in Colorado with great success:

In Denver, we've used Drew Fein (she is a member here) to set up our LLCs, create operating agreements and the like.

In Boulder for landlord/tenant issues, we've used Mark Cohen, www.CohensLaw.com.  He used to be a municipal judge, so he will tell you things both from a lawyer and judge perspective.  Good luck!!

@David Noskiewicz, I have directed a few clients to use credit clearing companies a few months before purchasing (it usually takes them 3 months to clear up your credit).  I know of two companies locally that make sure they clear your credit from all three credit bureaus, and charge $99/month.  I'm sure you can find one or two on your own, but reach out to me if you'd like the info of my contacts.

@Dylan Tettemer Japan is one of the very last places on my tick list (I have traveled extensively around the world and especially Asia). I think we should swap places for a few weeks!  Give me a call or email, I'd like to hear what you're thinking of for your future. :)

@William F. I sure do!  It depends on several things, like when you want to move here, which area you want to live in, what kind of investment you're looking for, etc.  Let's talk!

There are several amazing spots to invest in Colorado.  If you were to move here, which spot would you want to move to?
