What's Brewing Miami - REI Meetup -

This is a get together for people interested in REI.

We love to have a diverse crowd present.  Seasoned Real Estate Investors, Novice Investors, Hard Money Lenders, Real Estate Agents/Brokers, Wholesalers, Bankers, Attorneys, and Accountants.

Best Case:  You find a deal or meet someone who can share some of their experiences with you.

Worst Case: You have some great beer!

**Normally we will hold this event the last Tuesday of Every Month but due to Halloween being on Tuesday the event will be moved to Monday.

Where are the better RENT to Purchase Price ratios in the great Sunshine State.

Miami ain't one of them.

Looking forward to meeting everyone! Spread the word to others on BiggerPockets and anyone else who you think likes great beer :-)

I am running through the list to determine if any are under foreclosure or have liens.  The homes I targeted while I was driving around were ones which looked like they had deferred repairs, overgrown lawns etc... Also separating them based on which ones have the mailing address of the owner which is different from the property in question.

Jo,

Just curious which country where you living in before you returned to the States?

There are a lot of foreign investors who are looking for the E-2 Visa may be interested in investing. Though these are usually bigger deals.

First the obvious. Everyone's situation is different right?

I have found that I am constantly trying to balance home life, work life and this new desire to continue trying to reach our passive income goals through real estate.

General Advice is try to be mentally present whenever you are doing something. When you are clinical. BE CLINICAL when you are doing REI, DO REI. Dont be doing one thing and thinking about another.

One real piece of advice is to always ask patients what they do (or did if they are retired).  You will find people in every walk of life, including the real estate space, and you will begin to see your patients as real people which will make you want to treat them better!  A win win :-)
