@Amy Miller golf. Some are hacks, some are scratch golfers, most talk a bigger game than they actually play, we can all be better, and most still want to do it in retirement.

@Nick Webb great post!

It had me jumping into the stock market near the bottom, which helped put a not-insignificant amount in my pocket. It also helped me to re-focus on my chosen strategy of paid-for-rental investing. COVID reminded me that we can’t tell the future, and eschewing debt for financial security isn’t just a warm fuzzy. It’s a valid, and at times the best, financial strategy.

@Jake Thompson I’m a big fan of donor-advised funds! NCF is the one I’m most partial to.

@Sohil Shah when I had that same problem sweating on one wall in my home) it was actually the lines freezing due to low coolant. If you have a way to test it yourself it’s worth checking out. If not, it could be a cheap call to a HVAC specialist.

@Sohil Shah when you say “the walls are sweating” is it in just one spot? Also, in the heat of the day when the unit has been running a while have the tenant look at the lines coming out of the outside unit and see if they have ice on them.

@Eric James that’s just not true. You can make greater-than-market returns (8+ percent) easily with paid-for real estate. Hardly something to sniff at.
