Carlos, have you determined anything else about the California City market in the past couple of months?

Considering some SFR properties in Cahokia / Cahokia Heights, Illinois and looking for some recommendations on inpsectors in this area that do a good job looking at multiple properties

Wanted to revive this post and check to see if anyone else has additional information or input on rental in Cahokia, IL / Cahokia Heights, IL . . . I am also considering multiple rentals and it appears that I have found a pretty good property manager based on feedback I have.  Input is greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine suggested that I consider beginning to invest in small multifamily in Belleville, IL market. We are considering pursuing a 4plex near N Belt W (161) and Frank Scott Parkway W. However, we want to make sure that we also find a good property manager in the area that is familiar with small multifamily rentals as we are located out of state.

@George Skidis can you assist me in understanding the Belleville,IL market? We invest in multiple states and have recently been advised to begin looking at the Belleville, IL area by some friends of ours. How is the Main Street area? We are considering commercial building with apartments above them. Also considering a couple of single family homes in the area. What insight can you provide on the market and of course can you recommend any property managers? Finally, how about meetup groups in the area?

@Tony Ferrero ... We are just beginning to consider investing in the Belleville, IL market and would truly welcome any input to assist us in understanding that market. Currently looking at some commercial with apartments above them on Main Street as well as some residential. Some friends of ours have begin investing there and have recommended for us to consider it as well.

Came across this post and wanted to resurrect the discussion on the current status of these neighborhoods . . . I am also located in Southern California . . . I am getting ready to close on a 6plex property in Northmoor, MO and have found it to be a pretty good area. Looks like this post was originally about SFR . . . but does anyone have anything to add about multifamily as I would like to continue to consider and hopefully aquire additional multifamily in this area of NKC . . .

We are in the process of aquiring an apartment in Northmoor, MO . . . just outside of Kansas City, MO . . . as we are running our numbers on the property we are struggling to get consitent pricing ir direction on the repair of the asphalt driveway and parking area.  Does anyone have a recommendation of asphalt contractor or other experience on repairing asphalt that has not been maintained properly.

Thanks for requesting the clarification . . . we are looking for a home inspector that is reputable and we would be able to meet with, during the inspection, and understand any possible issues that we or a less qualified home inspector might miss.
