Right, I see some people staying away from certain properties just because it will be difficult to get the variance, and the property isn't worth it as a SFH for certain prices.

Was looking at properties in the Philadelphia area and was wondering how easy or hard it is to get a variance to change  a single family to a duplex or triplex?

So I'm reading that water and heat must be paid by the owner, is that correct for all of Norristown? Or do owners pay up front and then tenants pay afterwards?

Can anyone tell me if Norristown, PA is a place where your investment can really appreciate? I know there are some pro's and con's to Montgomery county such as strict inspection and permit rules. Is there anything that makes Norristown a good place to invest. I currently invest in Philly and was thinking of branching out and saw some potential deals in Norristown. Thanks!

Hello, I want to rehab a Philly row home of about 1700 sqft. Its a complete shell. What would it cost to put in HVAC, plumbing and electrical? It is legally zoned 3 unit.

@Jon Crosby Yeah I hear you. As it is my properties are only about 2 hours from me now and have my property manager deal with everything. Yeah I guess housekeeping and making sure your properties are clean and ready to go for the next client is important. And to remotely manage the rest doesn't sound too bad.

@Jon Crosby Who manages your Airbnb? Since I'm trying this out of state, do property managers offer to manage these as well?

This is just a general question, who prefers AirBnB to rental properties? What are some key things to know about before starting an AirBnB? Pro's and Con's? Thanks!

About to engage in a bidding war with some other investors, what are some good strategies to navigate this type of negotiation?
