I think the situation I have in mind is to rent out the rooms while staying somewhere else. The location IMO is very good. It is very close to 2 hospitals, community college, and a university, so it could be used for student housing potentially. Once I finish high school I want to do one year of REI and see where that leads before going to college, and I think having that property to rent out is a huge jump start and very beneficial.

The house is all ours once we finish high school, the only rules are my sister and I must agree on something before doing it. I completely understand what you mean though. Our current house will become their new “rental” once they retire because they are planning to get a new home.

My parents have a 100% paid off home in a nearby city that they rent out to other people. After High School they said they would let my sister and I stay there. It is two floors, 3 bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms, and they have offered it to us for very minimal to no rent at all. It may be a silly question, what what do you think I should do? Should my sister and I rent it out to others while staying in an apartment? Should I stay in the home and rent out the other room? Any and all advice would be much appreciated.

Hi! I’m Joel from Seattle, WA. If I am under 18, am I allowed to get my Real estate learning hours on a site like Real estate Express and have it count once I am 18? If I am, do you recommend any alternatives that may be better then Real Estate Express?

@Derek Johnson Just noticed that after I posted that haha. There was a similar home that I don’t think was a Mobile home. Would you recommend wholesaling Mobile Homes in parks?
