@Jenny D.  Exactly!!!  I'd be interested if you came across anything unique that would take advantage of that kind idea!

@Jeff C. I can definitely see that being the case. My only thought being is there going to be another spike as the Apple campus moves forward...I don't know. One would think it would though, especially if the salaries follow. Bexar county also seems like a pickle. My taxes there have about doubled, and my rent hasn't gone up much at all in reality. I'm now paying more in PITI than grossing in rent!

All good info, appreciate it!  Those bigger properties definitely catch my attention more as well just aesthetically, and I thnk about that when I would consider renting something myself.  What part of the area are you in/consider to be solid, or is all of it pretty great?

@Tim Schroeder

Whats been the sweet spot for you in regards to the cabins and number of bedrooms, luxury level, etc? Do you feel like you need to go 5-600k+ to get good returns?

What have you found to be the biggest issue with the management from the distance? Thats likely be my approach as well. Thanks!

@Avery Carl

Hmm. I love a place with low property taxes and no income taxes. I may just have to move there as well!

Very interesting. Looking at the big beautiful $600k+ houses wants me to jump on one, but knowing very solid profits can be seen on the less grandiose places is good news to hear.

Out of curiousity, are there other local taxes that perhaps arent listed on sites like zillow/realtor that one would habe to worry about? I know some states have property taxes, but then charge separate taxes for schooling and stuff. Just want to know if these taxes are really that low or if theres more to the story. Thanks!

@Bernardo Bento

Hello! Hope all is well. Thanks for the info. The golden visa sounds interesting, but def oit of my price range. The fees they tack on AFTER you invest hindreds of thousands of dollars is just nuts!

Btw, only been to portugal once but loved it. Great food and people.

@Aaron Gordy

Whoever can afford to gobble up land between SA and Austin will make a killing down the road
