I may be in Memphis, but if I can help in any way, don't hesitate to ask.

Alex Craig yes I will need the duct work as well. I was hoping to attract a better kind of tenant. Do you think that it wouldn't be worth it ? Douglas Skipworth Erik Nowacki

This is all great info... which comes at a perfect time for me. I am closing on a triplex soon and I would like to install all central heat and air. Whats the typical price for a 500-700sf 1bd/1Ba unit. Also note I have 3 units that are all this size, should I be offered a greater discount for getting 3 ?Downtown/midtown Memphis .

@Chris Clothier @Nick McCandless Chis I could not agree with you more... The good thing about investing in real estate is that its typically not a "Right or Wrong" answer. What may work for me may be a horrible situation for you. Its best to decide exactly what direction, what niche of investing that you are most interested in and start talking to your local professionals. Lenders, referred contractors, investor friendly realtors... Start getting to know people that are already doing these things full time. Rather Locally or if you decide to invest out of state, start networking and asking more specific questions.

It's much easier to invest with confidence when you have a support system that you can utilize.

I wish you the absolute best on your journey.

:-)

@Steve S. Thanks For this heads up... Scammers are all over.. Craigslist is even worst...

Its always best to know whom you are dealing with or at least have a referral from someone that has actually closed a deal with them.
