Jack did you have any experience before joining and have they guided you through purchasing any properties? Any info would be appreciated. I did hear from another newbie there that the price for the membership was $500 initially and yearly. Not sure if that is true.

Is anyone here a member of Lifestyles Unlimited or does anyone have any experience with them. They are a mentoring program that helps you get started in REI based out of Houston. From what I can tell so far they seem to be legit. I attended a "Case study" last night but was unable to stay long but I am attending a workshop in early January and I will let you know how that goes.
Thanks

My "goal" is to join the RICH club in Houston and to find my first deal on a house for a wholesaler I've signed up with.

I would say many to most similiar homes do not. I was just wanting to make sure it was ok to not provide this in a rental, although when I do get started I like to think this would be something I would offer in my rentals. Thanks.

i was thinking along the same lines. I remember a time when my mom's account had money taken out by a lady with the same name. She had her own account at the bank but somehow it was taken out of my mom's. If you have a common name I'd be leery about giving out my bank account number.

I have looked at several sfh's that are similiar to what I hope to invest in in the future. Problem is many of these do not have any type of centralized a/c or heat. It this something most of you have in your proerties or are window units acceptable. I am just east of Houston so some type of climate control is a must.

I've seen news articles in our area of meth labs in sfh's. There is no prerequisite as to where these meth labs can exist.

Thanks everyone. I am surprised to see my original post up to 9 replies.
I came across the website of an REI in Houston and they pay for leads to properties if they end up buying them. I thought it would be a good way to get my feet wet. I figure I could do this for more than several REI's and make a little cash and it would also be a good way to network.
