Hi all!

I’ve recently gotten my real estate license in Missouri, mainly to property manage, but I’m also really keen on making some sales! I’m in a TINY brokerage—I’m the only agent working under my broker in a newly formed brokerage. I’m looking for anything you can throw at me as far as lead generation goes and also any great learning resources for new agents! (Podcasts, YouTube channels, books, etc).

I’m super motivated to succeed!!

Tracy—thank you! I’m sorry I didn’t see the notification for your comment.

I’m really considering signing up for NARPM! I have family that live in the same town as this year’s conference, so I could see them and also have some free lodging. Thanks for the recommendation!

Vi K—I’m particularly looking for property management conferences, although I do own 3 rentals of my own!

Scott Mac— I’m hoping to connect with some other property managers who might be able to give me advice, suggestions, or teach me about systems they use that help make them successful!

Hi all! I’ve just recently gotten my real estate license, and I am managing ~70 properties for a great partnership. I absolutely love doing this, but I’m looking for some advice on good property management conferences I could attend. I feel like some networking and education would help me run things a little smoother. Any advice from people who have attended a conference like this?

Jason, thank you SO much for the reply! I will definitely look into this!!

They do own the properties. Thanks for the info!

So, I was hired by a partnership in Missouri to manage some of their rental units. I currently only manage 4 of them, but I don't have a real estate license or broker's license. They hired me because I had expressed interest in them mentoring me and helping me get started in real estate investing...they were in need of someone to help them manage properties, and I was in need of experience, so they asked me if I would manage a few units. I am wanting to make sure that I do this legally, though. One of the members of the partnership DOES have a broker's license--would it be legal for us to officially call him the property manager, and I would work under him as an "employee", but I'm really the one doing all of the actual work involved? Anyhow, it would be YEARS before I could get all of the licensing needed, and I am learning an incredible amount and would hate to give up this opportunity or have anything negative happen from this. Any and all advice very much appreciated!

Patrick--

Thanks for the suggestion! I will look into that. I looked into Cozy, and they have some good qualities, but I really want to be able to format my own application. I'm just mainly wanting to have less physical paperwork, so the Adobe option sounds promising!

So, I am working for a group of property investors doing some property-management-type duties, and I am very new to this. However, I was hired in order to streamline communication and hopefully help make the process of getting properties turned over and rented a little quicker and more streamlined. I am looking to find a way to do ALL the paperwork online for the rentals I manage--any suggestions? Any help and suggestions VERY much appreciated!
