@Tom S. we also rent to college students. They haven't been around so I am assuming school is closed for them. It's a perfect time for us to pressure wash and get yard work done without disturbing them. (They rent the other side of our duplex)

I found a property that I'll most likely be putting an offer in on. I noticed a plot of land that just sold near the neighborhood. The land looks like its set up for a new subdivision, so there may potentially be new construction. 
I'm curious as to what your thoughts are on purchasing a property that could potentially be near all this new construction?

The home was built in 2000 and needs some work, if I can get it for the price point I'm set on, it will be great for our next move to use as our primary residence. 

Does anyone have suggestions for a CPA/tax advisor in NC who works well with buy and hold investors?
