When I chatted with her a few days ago, that was one thing I mentioned. I offered a trial period at a reduced rate while we both got to know each other more and while I got to know more about the business since I don't know anything about the back office workings of a real estate agent. Thanks so much, Scott!

I have an interview today to become a real estate agents personal assistant. I have a personal relationship with her already and we get along great. I have been a Virtual Assistant for a few years already but love real estate and would love to get my foot in the door and build meaningful relationships while I build up the cash to buy a rental.

What are some questions I can ask her to make sure that we are a good fit for a business relationship?

Also, what is a question you wish your assistant had asked before they were hired?

Thanks!

Thanks so much for the update! Is the a charge to attend the meeting? Or do I need to be a member? I'm trying to figure out what the Chattanooga REIA website is saying.

I'd love to get connected! We are in Cleveland, TN. We will be looking for buy and hold properties.

We have owned rental properties in the past but moved away and sold them when we moved. We are now more established down here and would love to start that back up.

We would love to learn from someone who is knowledgeable in the low and no money down strategy. And need to learn more about the Tennessee rental ways.

If you know of a meet up, we would love to attend and get to know everyone and glean anything about real estate that we can. :)

Welcome, Michael! We are also in Cleveland, TN. Purchased a home last month for our family and have been doing nearly a complete renovation on it! We have owned properties in the past and are hoping to jump back into the market in the next year on multi-family units. Nice to see another from this small town. :)

Hi Friends! I am a 29 year old wife and mom to 3. I purchased my first home at 21 as a single mom. I met my now husband shortly after. We both owned homes at that point and when we got married, my primary home became our first rental. We then moved a few years later from Michigan to Tennessee and his home became a rental as well. We sold both last year after having a poor property manager. By selling we were able to pay off all student loan debt and we became debt free!!

We have since purchased a foreclosure as our primary home in Tennessee. We are doing what we are told is called a "new construction" on the home. Bringing the home down to the sub floor and replacing plumbing and light fixtures. We also needed to replace cabinets and bathrooms are getting a much needed update. Painting as well of course!

We are now looking to learn more about our new town and are excited to purchase rentals again!
