Hey Paul - Have you thought about investing in either REITs or ReTFs ?

When you invest in a REIT or ReTF, shareholders earn a portion of the income produced through real estate investment – without actually having to buy, manage or finance properties.

Investing in New York City for lower dollar amounts is possible -- there are platforms that allows you to invest in specific cities. It's usually structured like a REIT.
