How to find the right investors

Hi guys,

I’m ramping up to start investing in some properties in the near future and I’m interested in pooling capital with experienced investors.

My question- How can I find independent real estate investors in New York who would be interested in investing in smaller sized deals?

Regards,

Paul

Hi Paul, welcome to BP.

A great way to find interested investors would be to simply post some deals that you've found here in the marketplace. Do a lot of research and post the deal with numbers and comps, then just ask if anyone would be interested in getting into the deal with you. If someone is- they'll get in touch with you in one way or another.

The cool part is that even if you don't find anyone who is interested in the first few deals you post, you will get tons of valuable feedback from people looking to help out. This will serve as a great way to learn about things you might not have ever thought about looking at before. It will be an excellent step to take either way!

Good luck.
