I think I posted this in the right place...

I'm sure you all know that George Jones passed just a few weeks ago, and I came across his home listed for sale if anyone cares to look inside.

Ali Boone the post about the upcoming trip is the one I saw. I just found the other post that explains more about the development. I am going to request some info.

Thanks!

Ali Boone I'm an ex MTSU student myself! Go Blue Raiders! I had a problem balancing my school work with my social life so my college days ended as fast as they started.

I would like to hear more on your Nicaragua investing, have you wrote anything else about this other than the one post?

Welcome to BP Charlie! I just joined this site myself about a week ago. There is a ton of good reading on this forum, I have found it to be much better than any book I have read. Good luck and hopefully we will cross paths sometime soon!

Thanks guys!

Wayne Woodson, I would really like to meet a mentor locally that could help with the entire process, especially wholesaling to get me started. I have read tons on this and learned a lot, but "hands on" experience is always priceless. As I said previously, I am more than willing to put in the work to make things mutually beneficial, whether that be helping with a flip, or finding a deal, or whatever it is that I can.

As of right now, I really don't have any contacts in this business, so some of the questions I have are; I didn't know if you guys in TN were assigning contracts or double closing(or both), from a legal aspect? Do you have any local referrals for investor friendly Title Co's or Attorneys? Also, are you a member of REINTN? I was going to become a member, but I wanted to talk with someone that already to find out if the meetings are worthwhile.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

How is everyone doing? My name is Jeff and I have been lurking this site for a few weeks now, reading countless threads, and I have learned a lot from you guys. Thanks!

Here is a little about me.....
I am 28 years old and have lived in Nashville, TN all my life. I bought my first house in 2008 which I still own. I have been reading a lot about flipping houses, wholesaling, and investing in rental property and have decided that my goal is to get enough rental property to quit my full time job which is electrical work. I know it will take time to get there, but I am ready to slowly begin reaching my goals, I am done talking about it, I am ready to take action!

Searching this forum, I haven't seen too many people from Tennessee, much less Nashville. I am looking for someone locally to "show me the ropes", and I think I could mutually help them out with my electrical/construction background.

Thanks again to BP and its members for providing a great place to interact and learn so much about real estate, especially a newbie like myself.

I look forward to networking with you guys!

Thanks,
Jeff
