Something like this happen with one of my properties. When I bought it it had 1 cloth wire that ran from the stove to breaker. Therefore causing me to fail the inspection and not being able to insure the property. I changed the wire and 3 outlets to gfci and was able to pass inspection and insure the property. Just change what is necessary, just because it is old doesn't mean that it needs to be changed

The best person to talk to would be an attorney and your CPA. Some notes have a clause that it is due on sale but many do not enforce it as long as you are still the person responsible for that loan
Little Haiti is a great area. I own a property there and would consider myself an expert in the area any questions please do not hesitate to contact me

I am trying to figure out why this is a big deal people die everyday and most die at home in their sleep...the only concern I would see if the body decomposed and the landlord didn't hire the proper company to clean up after, and caused some sort of hazardous environment

Impact Windows and doors is always the ideal choice especially here in Florida the only downside to them is the price.. They tend to be pricey especially if your doing the whole house

everyone has done a great job on their rehabs.. I will be starting one in June on my current duplex. I will be doing 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and new floors in one unit, and impact Windows throuout the whole property

I prefer tile due to the different options and styles you can create . And in my opinion tile seems to last longer than acrylic
