Worst come to worst I would contact your title company there should be some insurance since none of this was disclosed to your prior to purchase

The goal is to always buy a property that cash flows on day 1.

I know that in the city of Miami once you buy a property you assume the violations. However there IS a special meeting where you can dispute all violations and pay little to NOTHING for the violations once they have been corrected

If you already live with your parents and it's not that bad stay there, and start buying rental properties. Once you move into that house it will become a liability.

As a tenant, I prefer having a vanity.  I have a sink now that is not a pedestal, but is attached to the wall with no vanity.  I had to find shelves to put in the bathroom under the sink.  It's awkward and doesn't give me good storage.

I have one of those over the toilet shelving units, but without the vanity, there is no place to put my bathroom cleaning products.

I think it's important to consider the functionality of a space for a tenant.  Look around the bathroom.  Where would someone put their toothbrushes, cleaning products, toilet paper, towels, etc.  Tenants will be looking with those things in mind.

 Hello,

Yes, the storage space is important.

Thank you for your input!

I like the look of pedestal sinks too!
