Post: Problems with vinyl flooring

Every floor has a "new" smell right after installation. This should pass in short order.

However, if the wrong adhesives or prep materials were used during installation, then this may be an issue that will not go away quickly.

What smells @Marie S. ? The vinyl? The room you're installing the vinyl in?

Please elaborate when you're able.

Thanks...JD

Happy New Year @Melissa Piccirillo !!

I agree with what John said above. How you proceed will depend on how much capital you have to use marketing. The least expensive way to look for deals is to email people on Craigslist. If you have some funds to use, hire a VA to send the emails. If you have even more funds, then....

Whatever you do, make a plan and start moving forward. As you begin to make $$ from your deals, you can set aside a portion of each deal that will be dedicated to marketing.

Good luck to you!!

You're always paying for the big box store's overhead. In my experience, I have always found better deals at my local flooring/plumbing (or whatever) store. And as far as labor goes, the best installers/contractors would not work through HD/Lowes.

Good luck @Arthur Banks
