Hello BP,

I was wondering if anyone has found a lender who will provide a HELOC on a non-owner occupied SFH in Tarrant county?

Thanks

Post: How do you calculate your real estate asset allocation?

Good evening BP,

I was just wondering how everyone figures their allocation to real estate in their overall portfolio? It is easy enough to see what your allocation to stock and bonds are, but what about real estate.  Do you use the amount of money that you have into the deal, the equity in the property, or the overall value?  Or...?

Thanks

Bought my second copy today. I gave the first one to a younger coworker and the second will be required reading for my daughter when she is old enough.

Thank you Scott.

Post: Roof Repairs in DFW?

Hello everyone,

For those who own property in DFW at what point do you replace your roof?

I had a repair request because part of my fence was blown down from a recent storm. I asked the PM to have the roof inspected as well. There is some damage but it isn't leaking. He said due to the severity of one of the recent storms that it would probably be covered by insurance.

Is it normal to wait for a large storm and have the roof repaired/replaced and go through your insurance company?

Thanks

My homeowner's insurance on my rental has increased quite a bit, so I think its time to shop around. Can anyone recommend a broker or insurance company?

Thank you in advance.

So happy to see this discussion, I just started researching this topic. Has anyone done an ADU in Ventura County? I'm currently looking into it.

@Wadner Cortez, I sent you a PM.
