My good buddy is considering purchasing some rental properties in Indianapolis and wanted to get some feedback on the locations from insiders who know the Indy market well.

The first one is on Cork Bend Dr (46239) and the second one is located on Clarkson Dr (46254).

He will probably make a flight out there to check things out for himself, but wants to know upfront if these areas are suitable for investing in. In other words, he wants to avoid warzones and wants to make sure he's investing in areas where it's easy to locate good tenants.

Aren't you so glad you discovered and started REI in your 20's? Hope you have even more success in your 30's!

Some of these are so subjective that it's hard to take them seriously...

16. 74% of wealthy teach good daily success habits to their children vs. 1% of poor.

What exactly is a good daily success habit? This implies that poor people teach their kids bad daily success habits...

18. 76% of wealthy believe bad habits create detrimental luck vs. 9% of poor.

Really? 91% of poor people believe that bad habits create good luck then? Just b/c you are poor does not mean you are so out of touch with reality, does it?

19. 86% of wealthy believe in lifelong educational self-improvement vs. 5% of poor.

This is kind of insulting... I grew up poor... really, poor. My parents couldn't provide me with all the opportunities in the world that the rich kids had, but they did preach the importance of working hard and having goals. They desperately did not want me to grow up and have to face the same type of struggles that they faced. Believe it or not, poor people do push education and learning to their kids!

@J. Martin props to you sir! Love how you have the whole work/life balance thing figured out as well.
