Indianapolis property location -- Good or bad?
My good buddy is considering purchasing some rental properties in Indianapolis and wanted to get some feedback on the locations from insiders who know the Indy market well.
The first one is on Cork Bend Dr (46239) and the second one is located on Clarkson Dr (46254).
He will probably make a flight out there to check things out for himself, but wants to know upfront if these areas are suitable for investing in. In other words, he wants to avoid warzones and wants to make sure he's investing in areas where it's easy to locate good tenants.
Any feedback is much appreciated! Thanks BP!

Hi Jay,
I live in Southern Indiana (40 minutes south of Indy) and can vouch for the property on Cork Bend. It's in a decent location with families who like the city feel but don't want to be downtown.
Regarding the other property, I would be hesitant myself to rent in this area. It's only one or two streets over from some less than desirable neighborhoods.
With that said, don't let that deter your friend from checking out other opportunities in the Indy market.

Hope it helps.
