Be careful what you say and how you say it... by saying ALL the brokerages do anything in connection with a commission or fee charged for services may be bordering on anti-trust law infringement...

No brokerages should be communicating about fee structures, and fees are SUPPOSED to be strictly determined based on what your brokerage is supplying to the customer.

Maybe I am just a scaredy-cat.

@Liana Doyle

This is one of the most valuable services that a good REALTOR can provide.... Are you licensed or pursuing your license??

Easy there guys! I meant no offense, and definitely was not meaning to devalue the site... just observing some graphical similarities.

Frankly, I would weed through pages of ads if it meant having access to BP. Truly, I am thankful that the ads and marketing are as rare as they are. Id imagine most are here to further some sort of financial gain in one way or another so --no blame, no shame, just observing those marketing strategies Gretchen more eloquently discussed.

As much as I love this site, and all of the content it offers-- I'd be lying if I didn't say the pages promo-ing the Flipping Book, and the Upgrade to PRO page look really "Guru-esque."

Maybe it's just internet marketing and I'm behind the times, but the crazy long pages filled with pictures...

Don't get all market-driven/sales-oriented when I've just found ya'll!

@Bradley Benski

I'll be out-of-pocket for a week in that range, but if our schedules align, I'd love to compare notes on the local market.

PM me when your coming back to TX, and we can see about arranging something!

These credit sites are just like the fancy bathroom scales that tell you body fat %... Sometimes they are on point, but they are usually WAY off.  HOWEVER, they are usually consistent, which makes them a great resource to monitor the CHANGE in your credit score... (much like the scale can help measure change in BF%).

There are definitely three different credit scores (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion).  At (annualcreditreport.com) you can obtain one free credit REPORT a year, but not your scores... Next time you apply for some type of financing where they run a hard credit check, just request a copy of the information. (for example, I received all of my scores when the mortgage company check my credit.)

Hope this helps!!

Wow @Leslie A.!! I haven't heard of anyone renting an RV as a residence. Excited to hear how this goes... keep us posted!

I recently tried for a small MHP myself... Realtor was less-than appropriately responsive and caused me to lose that one.  But I can't wait to try again!

Personally, I think education after high school should be looked at like any other investment. What is the ROI and how fast will you reap those benefits? ... Unless you need someone to sign off on your level of knowledge (read: state license, certificate or degree) then you're probably just fine researching yourself.

@Tony Martinez So, delve into BP and see if real estate is for YOU, before you go spending money!
