Louisville is a great market. I've been visiting friends and family here for over twenty years and have seen the growth. Jay Leisten would love to have a chat with you about the market.

‪Anyone own multifamily properties and having success finding subsidies and tax incentives through implementing green initiatives?‬ My specific group of properties is in Kentucky. We are trying to take the first steps to improve the property through changing boilers, replacing toilets and windows and are curious if anyone has partnered this with the above. If so, what was the initial steps you took?

That's amazing. My family business is moving and raising building. Have done this for close to 50 years and have seen our share of old buildings, in fact we just raised three on one street built in the mid to late 1700s. It makes you appreciate what it took to construct such a building a couple hundred years ago.

Amazing- this is great stuff. If you wouldn't mind sharing, what was your cost to convert not including buying the building / land?

@Thomas Good What are the main factors you are searching for when deciding to build vs ground up or convert existing building ? Also are you mainly focusing in larger towns / cities or smaller or a mix?

Borders & Broders is great. Also just used Eddins Domine Law Group, PLLC for a large multifamily purchase and the experience was good.

Sounds good @Mario Brown! I just closed on my first large apartment complex, a 94 unit, and we are doing some of the same things- replacing windows, toilets and faucets to increase efficiency and are looking at all sides. Best with the continued success!
