@Connor Francis your best bet is to find someone close to where you are or find the nearest REI meet up, or club, also you may find it easier to pick a niche and start with that and then move on to the next one once you have capitol or have the comfort level to tackle something new, you have definitely started in the right place, and by asking questions you should get all the answers you need, I have found that listening to the podcasts of BP and others in various niches help as well because they can give you different insights on what you are looking to do. I am sure someone will answer this better then I, but I started off essentially where you are and got information overload, so finally had to pick 1 and only 1 niche to start, and focus on that alone for the time being. Hope this helps a little bit. Just keep asking questions!!

Just an fyi I used to use http://www.inkquik.com/ because you can get cartridges cheaper than in the stores, they remanufacture and sell new, not sure if this helps but hey, it's a handy tip ;)

I agree with @Adam Enamorado, the other thing you can do is find podcasts on the subject, I have found that a lot of them can give you good information and direction on where to look for answers.

One thing you should remember as an investor is not to let you heart do the talking, always do the analysis, and then make a plan. If you let your emotions run your investments you'll find yourself in hot water more than not.

For the last few days I've noticed a lot of people are "lurking" but not asking questions. I just wanted to hopefully get it out there that you should be asking questions, no matter how new, green, or how little knowledge you have. I have found that everyone on BP is willing to answer a question or give some advice in some form or fashion, and trust me every question I ask I feel is terrible or "dumb". But if you don't ask you'll never know, so stop lurking and start learning!!!
