@Mat O'Grady are you still hosting REI meetings in East Lyme? I would love to attend one, and have talked with several other people that are interested as well. Thanks!

@Mia Edgar welcome to the area in advance :).  That price seems a bit high to me for a 5 family in the area with rents at that price.  We've looked into a lot of multifamilies in the area and can maybe point you to some good deals.  Message me and we can talk.

Hi Sherri, I'm in the Groton area, and would love to connect. I inquired about a SE CT meetup a while back, but didn't get much response. Though from the responses to your post, it sounds like plenty of people would be interested. We can definitely try to set something up.

@Kevin Scanlon would you be willing to setup an REO meetup? I noticed you did one in MA recently.

@Melissa Gittens If I go into a bank asking about rehab loans, what would the kinds of loans you mentioned be called?  I've spoken with several banks over the past couple weeks, and haven't gotten much information or direction.  Would I just ask for a streamlined or full rehab loan?

@Gerard Gonzalez I have not purchase another property yet, but plan to within the next month or two.  Our first property is in Rochester, NY and it is going well.

Hi @Steven Lin, welcome to BP! I am in the New London area as well. As far as I know there aren't any REI meetings close to us, but a few months back some people were talking about having meetups in our area. Not sure if they ever did or not. I'd be happy to meet with you, and maybe we can get some other people together as well.

@Sharon C Hartless That's too bad that the previous landlord lied to you, unfortunately though I think it is pretty common.  We always call the landlord before their current one when screening potential tenants, if possible, for that reason.
