Hi everyone, my name is Jack and I am an aspiring real estate investor in the San Diego area. I am 17 years old and have so much passion and motivation for the real estate business. I recently found a partner at a networking event and we were wholesaling a deal together. I told my parents to see what they thought and they really didn't like it and shut me down almost instantly. They made me call up my partner and cancel everything on him because I needed a "College Education" and that I was too young. I spent hours each night researching marketing strategies, doing comps on properties, messaging cash buyers, etc. I gave up weekends and worked so hard just for them to tell me that I was too young. I have a burning desire to be successful in this business and I know that I want more out of life. So I am reaching out to you guys in need of some clarity or any suggestions you guys may have. Anything will help me out. Thank you!!

I am a real estate investor in the San Diego area. I am just getting started on wholesaling properties and am currently finding off market deals. I will soon have to give an earnest deposit soon and was wondering how I determine the appropriate amount to pay an earnest deposit ( I know it depends on the property) but if there are any general rules it would be very appreciated. Thank you!

I am Jack, an aspiring real estate investor in the San Diego area. I am just starting out in the real estate investing business and I am currently learning as much as possible to soon take on my first wholesale deal. I know that in order to sign a purchase and sales agreement you must be 18. I wanted to know if you have to have a company or an established LLC to start wholesaling and what the legalities are when wholesaling as an individual. Like I said I am new to this business so anything helps. Thank You!
