Determining Earnest Deposits

Jack D Falkner
Posted
I am a real estate investor in the San Diego area. I am just getting started on wholesaling properties and am currently finding off market deals. I will soon have to give an earnest deposit soon and was wondering how I determine the appropriate amount to pay an earnest deposit ( I know it depends on the property) but if there are any general rules it would be very appreciated. Thank you!
