currently in the military and will be out in roughly 2 years or less. Just started in real estate investing and hope to make first wholesale deal upon returning from deployment. Was stationed out in colorado and me and my wife already said we will be moving back as soon as we get the chance. I know this is some time away but would love to hear of possibilities when the time comes if any. I am a quick learner and even know I am still a begginer Im hooked on real estate. thanks

Hello Ryan, I am a newbie out of Fayettville area. I got into the market because a close friend made real-estate investing sound extremely apealing. Sinse then i have been studying and have been to one local meetup. I also started reading the ultimate begginers guide, reading forums, and listening to podcasts. After all the wholesailing is what stands out the most to me and is something I want to be a part of. Currently am in the military and deployed and upon comming home I want to be ready to start making deals. my first question is when sending direct mail, after I have found and area or neighborhood. How do I figure out evsryones name and narrow it down to a certain category? what i mean by that is i was reading some of your responces and you mentioned tarketing people over than 50 or houses that are foreclosed. my second question for you is, I know you said for your first year you did it solo. Would you reccomend asking a fellow wholesailer to tag along and almost split the deal just to see how the process works? Finally, I do not really understand the meaning of cash for dollars. What exactly does that mean? I know this is lengthy and I do aplogize but thank you very much for your post, I was able to learn alot from yourbpoat and reading over others questions. thanks, Matt

@BJ Henderson Thank you very much, I was overthinking what the two subjects actually were but you cleared it up for me.

After listening to a few podcasts I keep hearing talk of direct mailing, and a buyers list. This may be covered in the ultimate guide and I just have not made it to that yet, but if someone could just maybe explain to me what these are? Thanks.

@Dustin Verley, I have listen to a few podcasts which is actually what peeked my interest for wholesailing, along with reading the ultimate begginers book. Im still reading the book and habe lots to learn on marketing and mailing because I do not know much of these two subjects. Once I become more knowlegable I hope to work with another wholesailer and assist him/her with their work so I can experiance real life work and help them earn more money.
