My 2 cents on this ordinance is that there have been too many lazy landlords out there, and a group of people got feed up and did something about it. I like @Chris Mason's thinking behind this, but I also believe there needs to be a higher level of integrity taken towards our investments and tenants.

Just to be clear, I'm not for this ordinance!
