@Leland Bishop

You can get close to other investors by providing your help in analyzing repair costs and referring them the best contractors you know. Add value to them and they will add value to you!

Post: Has anybody ever tried to put hardwood floors in their rental?

I've read that the kitchen and bathroom are (usually) the best places to lay tile because they add the most value. As for the rest of the house I am confused, shouldn't hardwood floors best fit the rest of the house because they last forever and you can redo them? Has anybody ever tried using hardwood floors? If so, did it affect your profit/cash flow due to it being expensive per square foot? I'm talking about rental properties when using the BRRRR method btw!

Thank you!

I recently bought the BRRRR book from the bookstore by David Greene and it really expanded my knowledge. This book does not only inform you on how to BRRRR but, how to make connections, analyse markets, how to have an economic mindset. Also, the organization in this book is outstanding. Each chapter is in the perfect spot and helps you further understand the next chapter and the best part is that at the end of each chapter the key points are all summarised in bullet points. I truly believe if you are in the financial situation to start investing and you are just stuck in analysis paralysis, this book will not only give you that push to action but give you such an advantage over the competition who has not read it. I cannot wait to read more books from the bookstore.

P.S. I am an 18 year old from El Paso Texas that plans to invest after college. I am not in the financial position to start now but I'm sure all this studying will pay off. I hope everyone is having a great day and is closer and closer to financial freedom.
