I am running into this now with another property my client wants to buy. It is 3 multi-families on one large parcel. Not all companies will lend on this even if it is legal. If you are the listing agent I would probably start looking for some lenders who understand the situation and would be willing to lend. Then provide those names to interested parties. I am a investor focused agent in Columbus. Where is the property, I might have a buyer.

Hi Rob,

I had not seen this article, really interesting. At the end of the day the housing is needed in Columbus and this is one solution. Keeping them all in rentals long term really detracts from the community as a whole though. I would like to see some sort of compromise where the builders are required to sell them to primary resident buyers after a certain amount of years. Or maybe there is possibility for a rent to own situation to provide affordable housing to first time home buyers. Housing is needed, but this does not seem like a long term solution.

I will definitely be following this closely now.

Hi Tony, I think you just need to find the right lender. I believe I have someone who could do the HELOC on a LLC. Feel free to message me and I can send you some names.

Hello All,

I am a new agent working for a newly formed boutique brokerage. I am researching CRMs for myself and the brokerage. Could some seasoned agents recommend their CRMs? So far I have looked at Follow Up Boss and Chime. FUB looks really promising, so if anyone is using that one please let me know.

We use Keap which is pretty robust but also does the job. There are a ton out there, its really like driving a car, find the one that fits you and your business the best. Another one a lot of people use  is mailchimp.

Thanks, I will look into Keap. Does Keap help you with task management and client organization? I would like to have one that helps me set up daily tasks and follow up tasks with clients.
