However I have not bought your book yet. Any advice on the flipping journey.. ( LLC and asset protection, Team(Attorney, Contractors, CPA), Deal analyzers/calculators- There are lots of these calculators, which is the best? Thanks

Am looking at LLC in terms of starting it right, avoiding pitfalls... A $300 LLC done through legal zoom or similar might be worth it?

Josh,

Thanks for your advise. I think am more than thinking of it in terms of what I have seen others go through. I think in real estate you never know when the bad guys will come in. I taught of starting it right and that is to have a company set up and probably at some point asset protection. Let me know wheat you think? Hey and being in Indiana, are you in REI clubs , etc?

I need assistance with this. I have not done any deals. I want to start very soon, but I don't want my name to appear on any deals; I am thinking of forming an LLC to do purchases. How much does it cost? where do I form it?- Nevada, Delaware, Wyoming....?What are the tax advantages? Will I pay more taxes? Will my name be completely hidden from all transactions? Should I get a P.O. box in order to hide my home address. Should I open a business account first? Can I do this on my own without hiring someone to do it? Will I be able to qualify for loans? Lastly, by forming LLC, will I be considered as self-employed? Any information is helpful. I am not sure about reliability of internet resources.

Scott,

You could hire a property manager. Why do it yourself? There is no need to collect rent yourself. That's where the property manager come in.
