@Andrey Y. I’m sorry this happened to you. I live in Newport News area and I was always wondering why people were massively buying in this neighborhood in the time frame when you purchased yours. It now all makes sense. This also answers my other curiosity why there were so many sales at the lower price then what it was purchased for. Thank you for sharing your story.

How did these guys market themselves. How did you find them, or how did they find you?

So far the property is getting a lot of activity. It is in a desirable area.

@Brian Mcmenamin I would appreciate it if you can send me that contract and checklists. Thank you!

@Brandon L. I am not working with a listing agent,  but in my advertisement it is specified that buyers agents are welcome.!

I was just trying to figure out how many people do the transaction FSBO while they're welcoming the buyers agents vs hiring the agent to represent you and to of course pay the buyers agent as well.

Thank you all for the reply!! WhAt is the best way to market FSBO? Any particular website that you all prefer more then other? I know about Zillow, Trulia, Realtor, the most common ones I guess.... Is there a reputable website where I can get it into MLS for a flat feee that way I don’t have to go and search for a broker?

@Greg H. So, if you have cash, basically you can bid on any hud property during the owner occupant stage as long as you have the intent to live there you’re good. Am I missing something?
