Hi, I am interested in investing in Columbus, Ohio. Since I work in Arizona, getting started is somewhat challenging. My credit score is between 750 and 760.  I am actively looking for the multi units like Duplex or Triplex. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Moonyoung! With your credit score, you'll likely have access to favorable financing options. I'd be happy to discuss potential investment strategies and share insights on the Columbus market. Let's connect!

Quote from @Jagpreet Singh:

I'm currently exploring property investment opportunities in Ohio and actively seeking a buyer's agent to collaborate with. Ohio has emerged as a primary focus in my extensive search across various states (I have looked into many states). My goal is to establish valuable relationships with key players in the area, including agents, property managers, and contractors. With plans to make an investment within the next three months, I'm eager to engage in discussions about my strategy and appreciate any constructive feedback. Building lasting connections in the Ohio real estate market is a priority for me.

Feel free to reach out with your credentials and I will follow up as soon as possible. Ideally, an agent and/or property manager experienced with out-of-state investors (I'm in NY), actively investing themselves, and capable of sourcing off-market deals for BRRRR opportunities.

Thanks!

My wife and I are new investors looking into building a team in the Dayton/Miamisburg markets. We're interested in small B/C class multifamily properties (2-4 units) in the $200-$325k price range that has potential to reach 10% COC, with special interest in exploring hidden value opportunities via renovations/upgrades. We would appreciate any recommendations on property managers or investor agents, as well as general tips regarding the Dayton market and would love to connect with some Dayton investors as well. Thanks!

Hey there! It's great to hear that you're interested in the Dayton/Miamisburg markets for small multifamily properties. Yeah it’s great that you are building a strong team of RE professionals. While I'm based in Columbus, Ohio, I have a solid network of professionals in Dayton whom I can connect you with. Additionally, Columbus is another market worth exploring for its strong rental demand, diverse economy, and growing population. Let me know how I can help!

I am selling my business and will soon have $850k cash on hand. I don’t want to put it all into real estate, but I do want to invest a good majority, around $400-600k. I really value cash flow. Should I just look for a multi family? Or I’ve read storage units might be a good option. What would you recommend?

Hey Devyn! It's great to hear that you're thinking about investing in real estate with your upcoming cash on hand. For your situation, multi-family properties and storage units could both be excellent choices. I prefer multi family because they offer multiple income streams, usually higher rent per square foot compared to single-family homes, and are more likely to appreciate over time due to inflation and rent increases.

I would recommend Columbus, Ohio. It's definitely worth considering for its strong rental market, growing population, and diverse economy. I've helped investors find success in this market, and I'd be happy to share more insights if you're interested. Let me know how I can help!

Hi. I live in New Jersey and looking to be an out of state investor looking for a good combination of cash flow and appreciation; I am considering either Cleveland or Columbus. Any feedback on either city is greatly appreciated!!!

Hey Nahon! Both Cleveland and Columbus are solid markets, but I highly recommend Columbus. It offers a great blend of cash flow and appreciation potential. Plus, the real estate market here is still relatively affordable compared to many other major cities, allowing for more attractive purchase prices and potential returns. Hello, I'm looking at purchasing a piece of property in the Columbus area this week.

I live in NJ so I wanted to get insight into the area and hear from local people on the market and see what you think of my deal. The property is in the Greater Hilltop community. If anyone would like to discuss and help out I'll share more information on a direct message.

Thanks in advance!

Chris

Hey Chris! Greater Hilltop is a place you'd want to avoid. However, Columbus itself has a diverse range of neighborhoods that could be a better fit for your investment goals. Each area has unique characteristics, and I'd be more than happy to give you insights into neighborhoods that might align better with what you're looking for. Let me know how I can help!
