I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I’m partial to that area, lots of development and the city is growing, mostly pulling in from the suburbs. I haven’t purchased any property yet but I’m looking and doing my research. There are a few areas I would recommend based on what the job market is doing. PM if you’d like to chat about it!
I would also like more information, pictures, etc. thank you!
Hi there Sam, I’m a new investor in the Cleveland area and I’ve been living in the area for 30+ years. If you have any questions or would like to talk about areas specifically I’m always available. I love Cleveland and think the city is moving in the right direction, especially downtown with numerous building revitalization’s and new towers going up. I think there is still lots of opportunity to be had too.

I have been messing around with these calculators and plugging deals in that i find.  I am curious if the one i posted is accurate.  I under estimated rents and over estimated expenses. I am new and i am working on finding my first property.  I am a sponge and would appreciate any and all guidance!

Congratulations! I was wondering if I could ask how you financed the deal? If I’m not being intrusive that is!

Hello,

My name is Frank and i am 37 years old.  I have always been very interested in real estate, really all aspects of it.  building, fixing, buying, selling and so forth.  Recently though i have become more frustrated with daily life as i feel i am not pursuing my dreams, i currently work in restaurants, and i think its time to do this.  I am nervous, worried and scared but i am also a quick learner, level headed and eager.  I will be lurking through out these boards and other resources trying to expand my knowledge and reach my goals.  I would welcome any and all guidance.

Thanks,

Frank

Thank you for the response.  I have read the guide and i listen to the podcasts while I'm driving around town.  I do have some cash to start and i have access to more if need be. I will be looking for meet ups, those sound like a good networking opportunity.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Frank and I am just starting out and looking to learn from anyone who would like to teach me.  A little about me, I am 37, single and currently work as a Server at the Cheesecake Factory.  Its an amazing job but not something i'd like to do for ever. I am college educated but i am just not the 9-5 desk job type.  Ive tried, it doesn't work for me.  I've been in restaurants most of my life, managing and opening them, and i think those skills can/will translate nicely into managing the multiple aspects of RE investing.

I am looking into Real estate because it has always fascinated me and i would love a better  way to take care of my life in the future.  I will do anything to start and i am currently doing a lot of reading and learning.
