Taking the jump

Hello, 

My name is Frank and i am 37 years old.  I have always been very interested in real estate, really all aspects of it.  building, fixing, buying, selling and so forth.  Recently though i have become more frustrated with daily life as i feel i am not pursuing my dreams, i currently work in restaurants, and i think its time to do this.  I am nervous, worried and scared but i am also a quick learner, level headed and eager.  I will be lurking through out these boards and other resources trying to expand my knowledge and reach my goals.  I would welcome any and all guidance.
