Hey John D., Having an attorney review the contract is your right but no it's not mandatory. I just had a client push an offer without an attorney review to a short sale. Best of luck with the property!

There are so many different ways you can go with real estate you don't want to overwhelm yourself right away! Nirzhar Kar On the buying side you should get an agent as it costs nothing on your part. The seller covers commissions most of the time and the agent will take care of all of the tedious work such as contracts etc. if you ever have any questions feel free to pm me.
