Hi everyone! I recently relocated to Dallas TX and I am researching the area. Looking to connect with investors who are willing to share any investing insight. What areas to research etc.. I moved from Santa Fe NM. Real Estate is much different. I have a rental property in Santa Fe that will be vacant in January and be ready for a new tenant February 1st, 2017. It is a adorable condo in a gated community ten minutes from down town plaza. For more info. please contact me. Happy Holidays!
Hi Tomas, I'm new to Dallas and am also interested in fix & flip, & learning wholesale. Reaching out for any advice for the area. Georgia

I consider my first property rented a success for myself. I have a Condo in Santa Fe, NM. Some of you may have seen my previous post with the experience with my mortgage and PM and moving forward on my own. I thank each of you who chimed in and offered advise and guidance. My goal was to rent my Condo, not sell it. It took some time, approximately two months of me advertising on my own. I utilized, Zillow & Craigslist. My tenant came from Zillow. I rented fully furnished, and I utilized the info and guidelines and tools provided in the Landlord and Renting blogs and podcast here on BP. I am still learning, but all this info was so helpful. I was so nervous, but I followed the guidelines of the tenant earnings being three times as much as the rent along with so much more. I tried analyzing with the renter calculator, but I'm still learning how to use it. I recommend that everyone who is a Landlord read the Landlord and Renting Blogs, listen to the podcast and stay tuned in with the forums. I am recognizing how valuable the BP site is, amazing! I am currently working on a Financial and Business plan to prepare myself for my next property. It is a very exciting time for me. I have been listening to Podcast #26; Building a Scalable Real Estate Investing Business. All the podcast that I have listened to have provided a ton of valuable info., but this podcast is really helping me through the process I am in at the moment. If you are creating an financial & business plan, you should listen to podcast #26. Thank you all once again!
